How To Find Your Ring Size

Accurate ring size measurement guide with conversion charts for India, US, and UK. Measure inner diameter or circumference at home to find your perfect fit.

Method 01

Measure an Existing Ring

Use a ring that already fits your chosen finger comfortably.

    Pick a ring that fits Choose a ring that already fits comfortably on the exact finger you want to size.
  2. 2
    Place it flat on a ruler Lay a millimeter ruler flat on a table, then place your ring directly on top of the markings.
  3. 3
    Measure the inside circle only Look straight down and measure the distance between the INSIDE edges across the widest middle (inner edge to inner edge).
  4. 4
    Find your size in the table This millimeter number is your Inner Diameter. Match it in the conversion chart below to find your ring size.
Method 02

Measure Your Finger with Tape

Use a flexible measuring tape (or a thin strip of paper).

    Get a tape or paper strip Use a flexible tailor's measuring tape, or cut a thin strip of paper about 1 cm wide.
  2. 2
    Wrap around your finger base Wrap the tape or paper strip snugly around the base of the finger where your new ring will sit.
  3. 3
    Mark the overlap point Use a pen to mark the exact spot where the tape or paper wraps around and meets itself. If using paper, lay it flat on a ruler to read the millimeters.
  4. 4
    Find your size in the table This millimeter number is your Finger Circumference. Match it in the conversion chart below to find your ring size.
